First Train

Techniques

First Train incorporates many varied techniques of delivery to achieve our ultimate goals. We champion and advocate the use of coaching in order to develop and grow your employees.

Due to the diversity of development and coaching that we undertake, there are many different schools of learning that we follow and incorporate into our sessions.

Some techniques that we use include :

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) - particularly for our customer service sessions. NLP identifies individuals' communication techniques and learning styles. It empowers the trainee to understand how they get the best out of their development opportunities.

Integrated Personal development - as exemplified by Rich Allen. Learning is fun and adult learning is most effective when participants enjoy the sessions they attend. First Train guarantees that their courses will not be dull.

Activity Based Learning - using practical examples in a safe learning environment, experimenting with new management styles and techniques and making them relevant to the workplace.

First Train addresses the need for more integrated and interactive learning experiences in the corporate world. Integrated with the organisational strategic plan, so you are training your staff in the direction that you want the business to go; and interactive learning from the participants themselves.

Our trainers don't stand and deliver (sorry to any Adam & the Ants fans!) at the front of the class to their trainees but sit amongst the group and use the trainees' personal experiences to benefit the whole learning team.
